Travel insurance

Eurolines offers her clients a very advantageous travel insurance of Mondial Assistance. For no matter how well you arrange everything, something could oblige you to go back home sooner than you anticipated. You can fall ill, an accident could happen or your luggage could be stolen. For just € 4 per person you are covered during your trip for the following:

1. LUGGAGE*

Insured amount in case of theft, loss of or damage to travel luggage: € 1.200
including:
  • Photo-, film-, video-, telecommunication-, computer equipment and valuables, together € 500
  • Contact lenses and spectacles € 250
*Excess per person per event € 150

Reimbursement of cancellation costs in case of for instance:
  • Serious illness, serious accident or death of yourself or your travel companions
  • Life-threatening disease of direct family (1st or 2nd degree)
  • Urgent need of care of direct family (1st degree)
  • Pregnancy
  • Divorce
  • Unemployment

3. EMERCENCY COSTS

Cover including:
  • Additional travel and accommodation expenses in case of death, sickness, or accident
  • Additional costs of returning to the Netherlands in case of recall
  • Costs of search and rescue operations
  • Costs of coming over of family members in case of peril to life
  • Costs of medically necessary repatriation
  • Transportation costs in case of death

4. MEDICAL COSTS**

Doctor’s and hospital costs abroad: € 30.000
